Andy Dunks

The Rev. Andrew A. "Andy" Dunks, Rector

The Rev. Andrew A. "Andy" Dunks became St. Bartholomew's third Rector on June 15, 2012. Andy has been Chaplain and Chair of Theology at Christchurch School in Saluda, VA. Prior to that he was Chaplain and Chair of Theology at the Virginia Episcopal School in Lynchburg, VA. He was Vicar of St. Michael’s Episcopal Church in San Antonio, TX and Associate Rector at St. Bartholomew’s Episcopal Church in Corpus Christi, TX.

He has a M Div from the Episcopal Theological Seminary of the Southwest in Austin, TX, an MA in Philosophy from the University of Notre Dame, South Bend, IN and a BA in Philosophy, magna cum laude from Texas A&M University in College Station, TX. He is married to Julie and they have two children, Caitlin and Evan. His hobbies are fencing, military history and local tourism. Julie is with an architect firm in Williamsburg, VA.You can reach Fr. M. Wayne Hare, CAGO Music Director

A Richmond native, Wayne started in church music at the age of ten playing at his home church. Wayne studied church music, organ and voice while at VCU and has continued to serve many area churches of all denominations and to study organ privately. He holds the American Guild Of Organists Service Playing Certificate as well as the AGO Colleague certification. He brings a wealth of experience in all genres of church music from Renaissance to Contemporary.

 

Betty Pace

Betty Pace, Parish Secretary

Betty has been a member of St. Bartholomew’s since 1983. She has taught Sunday School, served on the vestry, and is a member of the choir. She is retired from Altria Client Services, Inc. where she worked in the Human Resources Department for 10 years. Prior to that she was employed by Reynolds Metals, Inc.  and A. H. Robins, Inc. also working in the Human Resources Departments. Betty attended Virginia Commonwealth University.

Richard has served the congregation for many years and is retired from the Henrico County Public School System.
