New! YouTube page

5/1/2021

We now have a YouTube page where you can see many Sunday and special services;  https://tinyurl.com/yfsssxoh

We have created a YouTube Channel devoted to showing services from St Bartholomew’s Church. Videos of future services will be posted there, in addition to being broadcast live on Facebook and Zoom. So far we have copies of several Sunday services and our 2020 On-Line Christmas Pageant. The videos will not be live but added later in the day. You may like to check it out. The name of the channel is St Bartholomew.

You might wonder why we have done this. After all you can already follow our services live on Zoom or Facebook Live, or watch the recording later on Facebook. The reason is simple. Not everyone has managed to connect using either of those options. I was talking to one of those members a short while ago and realized that she had failed to get on line with either Zoom or Facebook, but that she did watch TV programs using YouTube. I’m hoping that she and others will now be able to enjoy our services by using another medium.

It also means that you can watch the service on your large screen TV and not be limited to sitting in front of a computer or smartphone.

How to Find It On Your Smart TV

Select You Tube on your home screen.
Search for “St Bartholomew’s Episcopal Church, Richmond, VA”.
(You might find it by looking for “St Bartholomew”, but you will also find many other churches with the same name all over the country.)
You should then see a link to our channel which will be a picture of the St Bartholomew’s Sign on Patterson Avenue.
Select this link which will take you to a list of videos from St Bart’s. At present there are only 3 – the Christmas Pageant, Easter Day and last Sunday.
Select the video you want to watch.
